This dog is in need of a foster home where he/she will be able to enjoy a quiet environment. Tenley sustained an injury to her tail. As a result, her tail needed to be amputated. Tenley has been recovering nicely in one of the offices at WARL. Tenley is quiet, well behaved and has proven to be a great office buddy! Tenley is currently on pain medication for the amputation and continues to wear an Elizabethan Collar to prevent her from chewing at her tail as it heals. Tenley is eligible to transition into a home as a foster dog while tapering off the medication she is currently on. Staff will discuss this medication as well as the terms of foster with you during your visit.
You just have to meet Tenley! This sweet girl is active and affectionate. Tenley loves to play. Fetch is one of her favorite games. This intelligent girl also knows how to relax. During warmer months Tenley enjoys romping in a fenced yard. If you have a kiddie pool – even better! On colder days, she keeps staff company by napping at their feet while the computer work is being done.
Tenley is hoping to find a home with an active couple who enjoy long walks. Tenley is not comfortable around other dogs or cats and will need to be the only animal in the home.
So, if you have been looking for a best friend, companion or jogging buddy, Tenley may be the girl for you.
