Food Pantry

Giving a helping paw

Many people in our community simply need a “helping paw” with feeding their furry family members as they get back on their feet after losing their job, recovering from an illness or during times of financial struggle. Our community Pet Food Pantry ensures that no loved and cared for animal goes hungry.

How do you get food?

Pet food is available to local community members in need. Please contact [email protected] if you are in need of support. Availability of food is based on donations to the shelter so specific brands and types of food are not guaranteed.

Currently, the Worcester Animal Rescue League provides food to the following pantries and social service agencies:

Boys and Girls Club of Worcester
Catholic Charities
Kibble Kitchen of Central MA
Project New Hope
St. Paul’s Elder Outreach
Worcester Senior Center
El Buen Samaritano
…and we are always adding more.

Can I donate food?

YES! We accept donations of new, unopened bags and cans of food. If you would like to drop off food, please call or email ahead to receive instructions on how to donate. You can also order food online and have the food shipped directly to WorcesterARL at 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606. We also welcome monetary donations to assist with the associated costs of making this program possible.
