Worcester Animal Rescue League is a private, non-profit organization, and receives no government funding. The costs to care for animals, provide medical attention and medicine, feed, and prepare for adoption far outweighs what we take in for fees. We rely on your generosity. The animals depend on the heartfelt outpouring of people like you who have decided that they want to live in a community where every living being matters.

Josie’s Monthly giving program

“If I’m not perfect, and Josie’s not perfect, how come we make a perfect pair?” -Arthur

Arthur met his best friend, Josie, at WARL on November 19, 2010, inspiring him to give a reoccurring monthly gift. And as animal lovers like Arthur know, the costs of caring for our beloved friends are ongoing: food, medicine, heat to keep them warm. Monthly donors ensure that the animals will be cared for – month after month. Through your support, you help provide what’s needed to match the next perfect pair.

“The other day I was introduced as Josie’s master. I thought about it for a while, and I don’t think that’s accurate. We’re not dog and master. We’re a team, partners. When someone sees us on one of the many trails we walk, what they really see is just two friends taking a walk.”

To make a recurring gift automatically, follow the link and check the box that says “Make this a monthly donation”:

Even more ways to help

    • Kennel Sponsorship Program
Walkthrough our facility and immediately your attention turns to the kennels that house those we serve. By becoming a Kennel Sponsor, you can provide the animals with the basic necessities as they await their new family. Over the course of the year, your gift will directly impact many cats or dogs as they make your kennel their temporary home. Fill out a Kennel Sponsorship Form.
    • Make a Bequest to the Animals
Making a bequest to WARL is a beautiful way to express what has really mattered in your life and to have a lasting impact on the animals of our community. Bequests can be made by a simple statement in your will, or by naming WARL as a beneficiary of IRAs or life insurance policies. Please give us a call. We would be happy to explore this option with you.
    • Paws for Recycling
This is one of the easiest ways to help the shelter. WARL collects empty inkjet and laser printer cartridges along with cell phones and empty beverage cans that we turn in for cash. This is an excellent way for schools, organizations, and businesses to help WARL.
    • Donate Your Car
Through our Vehicle Charity Donation Program, you can call Linders Dealership in Worcester to schedule the removal of your unwanted vehicle. Select WARL as the charity of your choice. You’ll help the animals and get a tax write-off. For further information contact Linders 800-521-8000
